Public Speaking
1. Practice!!! There’s really nothing else you can do. Having a fear of public speaking means you need to get so used to it, that you aren’t as scared as you were before. If you realize that you aren’t so scared than you used to be, than that’s a good advancement, BE PROUD OF YOURSELF!
2. Force yourself into opportunities into speech contests or joining Toastmasters. As at the end of the day, the only one who’s benefiting is you. You won’t like it, but once you’re done it, you’ll understand that you’re one step closer to conquering your fear.
3. Practice in front of people you aren’t afraid of and slowly add people you don’t know/are afraid of into your constructive criticism group.
4. Practice in front of the mirror really helps. You can not only see your posture but your eye contact. Eye contact is vital!
